Winter Hood

About the recipe:
The Winter Hood is knitted from the top down and is assembly-free. The shape is created by increasing while working back and forth in stockinette stitch. Finally, the piece is gathered and worked in the round in rib to the neckline, which is finished with a rolled edge. The neckline is then folded into the hood itself, so that the wrong side is facing out.

Goal:

• Length: 45 cm measured from top to bottom (before the neck is folded in)
• Width: 30 cm

Recommended needle size:

• Circular needle size 6 mm (40 and 60 cm).
• Circular needle size 5 mm (40 cm).

Yarn:

• 100 g Paris from Better Yarn (50 g = 110 m)

Knitting tension:

• 12 stitches x 18 rows in stocking stitch on 6 mm needles after washing = 10 cm x 10 cm
