The Bellis hat is knitted from the bottom up. First in double rib to make the folded edge, and then in the Bellis pattern. The first part is knitted on circular needles (40 cm), while the top is knitted on double pointed needles or with the magic loop technique.
Knit a swatch that you either steam or wash and block to check the knitting tension before you start knitting the actual hat.

- 18 stitches x 30 rows in double rib on 3.5 mm needles, after washing and blocking = 10 cm x 10 cm
