Knitted Pumpkin

This pattern is in Danish.

The pumpkin is knitted with double pointed needles, from the bottom up. Before it is closed at the top, the filling is put in. Then the bumps are created to shape the pumpkin and the face is embroidered. Finally, either a string is attached to hang the pumpkin, or an i-cord tip can be knitted.

• One size.

Goal:

• Approximately 10 cm in diameter and 5 cm in height.

Needle size:

• Circular needle 3 mm (60 cm)
• or double pointed needles 3 mm.

Yarn:

• 6 g Sunday from Sandnes (50 g = 235 m). Find the yarn here .
  

Knitting tension:

• 28 stitches in stocking stitch on 3 mm needles = 10 cm.
