Straight Basic Scrunchie

This pattern is in Danish.

The Basic Scrunchie is knitted in the round on the long side to form a short wide tube. The piece is turned inside out and folded around the hair elastic, where it is finally sewn together with a slip stitch.

You choose whether you want to follow my yarn suggestion or just use it as inspiration. Mix and match as you like, possibly with some of your yarn scraps.

• 50 cm round, 5 cm wide (10 cm folded in the middle)

Needle size:

• Circular needle 3 millimeters (40 cm)

Yarn:

• 20-25 g Sunday from Sandnes (50g = approx. 235m). Find the yarn here .

Knitting tension:

• 28 stitches in stocking stitch on 3 mm needles = 10 cm x 10 cm
