Estrid Bolero

This pattern is in Danish.

Estrid bolero is knitted top down with raglan increases back and forth in a K2/P2 rib pattern. The sleeves are knitted extra long so that a wide turn-up can be made.

Knit a swatch that you either steam or wash and block to check the knitting tension before you start knitting the bolero itself.

Goal:

• Width under armhole fits: 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 cm in body measurements.

Recommended needle size:

• Circular needle 5mm (40 and 80 or 100 cm).
• Possibly double pointed needles 5 mm

Yarn:

• 300(300)350(350)400g Peer Gynt from Sandnes Garn (50g = 91m). Find the yarn here .
• knit together with 75(75)75(75)100 g Brushed Lace from Mohair By Canard (25g=212m). Find the yarn here .

Knitting tension:

• 16 stitches x 24 rows in double rib on 5 mm needles, after washing and blocking = 10 cm x 10 cm
